On River’s Edge

On Rivers’ Edge is set in an attractive and inviting river-side garden setting. It features the original dairy barn, a large lawn adjacent to the Little Spokane River, a terrace for outdoor dining and seating by a firepit, a meadow of native and riparian plants, a boardwalk following the river, and multiple garden “rooms”.
There will be an emphasis on the simple family farm, while preserving the natural water and wildlife setting. To ensure we are as “green” as possible, many sites features are built from site resources or recycled products. Foods sold or served will include locally grown and produced. Services will always incorporate reusable supplies.
Bob Brown and Pamela Brown are the owners of On Rivers Edge. Bob has many years experience in the classroom as an elementary, middle, and high school teacher, where students always appreciate his humor, candor, informality, and even “magic” tricks.
Pamela has many years experience in the fields of landscape architecture, where a love of gardens developed, in the classroom as an elementary teacher, and as an administrator. We bring a love of nature, a commitment to preservation of natural settings, a love of travel, and a desire to help families and businesses enjoy and customize their most significant events. On Rivers Edge is a perfect location to do just that, and we will take every possible step to have the event be personal and meaningful.
