What a sweetheart! This little mare’s been an absolute joy to ride. No matter the job, Mesa always gives it her best. She has a nice handle that will get you noticed in the show pen or put to work on the ranch. Mesa has taken everything I’ve thrown at her in stride. The very first time I swung a rope on her was to drag a water trough across the pasture, and she handled it like it was nothing. I’ve used her to gather and trail cattle, wrangle horses, sort pens, pack grain and pony horses. After all that, my favorite thing about Mesa is how steady and sure-footed she is in rough terrain.
