Spring Fling 5K Poker Ride & Run

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Outdoor enthusiasts of all ages are invited to take part in the
Spring Fling Poker Ride & Run on Saturday, April 24, 2027, at the Equestrian Skills Course
in Bear Creek Regional Park.
This unique community event welcomes horseback riders, carriage drivers, pack burro
owners, bicyclists, runners, hikers, walkers, and families for a fun morning on the trails.
Even leashed dogs are welcome.
Unlike a race, the Spring Fling is designed as a relaxed, family-friendly experience that
encourages participants to enjoy the park while supporting a valuable community resource.
All proceeds from the event help fund the construction, improvement, and ongoing
maintenance of the Equestrian Skills Course.
Participants travel through the course and collect cards at designated checkpoints to build a
poker hand. Prizes will be awarded in multiple categories, including highest and lowest
hands, youth participants, the oldest participant, and the individual who traveled the
farthest to join the event.
