Jake is one of my all-time favorites. I’ve used him in every single area of my riding life, and he just keeps getting better everyday. I’ve put all levels of riders on him — from small children to older folks, from true beginners to extremely experienced — and everyone who rides him loves him. He is smooth and steady on the trail, yet he’s one of the greatest ranch rope horses I’ve ever sat on. He reads a cow the way most people read a book. He has simply never done anything to hurt or scare anyone. To be very honest, if I were about to retire or had grandchildren, I simply would not sell him.
