Northwest Carriage Museum

Raymond
Washington

The Northwest Carriage Museum opened its doors in 2002 as a result of a very generous donation of 21 horse-drawn vehicles from Raymond, WA residents Gary and Cec Dennis. The museum has grown over the years through the efforts of Jerry & Laurie Bowman, Curator & Director Emeritus.

Today, there are 64 incredible 19th-century horse-drawn vehicles at the museum, including elegant carriages, wagons, sleighs, a Stagecoach and a Chuck Wagon, to name a few.  The vehicles are surrounded by thousands of artifacts that take you back in time. Our backroom includes an 1890s schoolhouse, a wheelwright/blacksmith shop, a mechanical talking horse–the museum is fun for all ages. We also offer a unique gift shop.

We are proud to be keeping history alive for you and future generations! The museum has been described as a “must see” by many visitors and publications.

We invite you to join the thousands of annual visitors on your next visit to the Pacific Northwest. Located on Hwy 101 and State Route 6, on the beautiful Willapa River in Raymond, Washington.
