Horses of Hope Oregon was founded in 1988 and is the longest continuously operating equine assisted services program in the State of Oregon. We provide equine assisted services in a safe, friendly, accessible, and supportive environment, to a diverse population of individuals with a variety of physical, cognitive, emotional and behavioral needs. We are located in Turner, Oregon and  currently serve participants from the mid-Willamette Valley and 10 surrounding counties. Our participants are from Portland to Eugene, and Benton County to the far eastern reaches of Jefferson County.

What We Do

We meet the challenges of those with but not limited to, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, PTSD, autism, and ADHD. Participants of all ages benefit from the movement and innate behavior of the horse to connect with people and reflect their emotions back to them. Equine assisted services help to develop strength and balance, flexibility, confidence, problem solving, and empowerment.
