She is broke and gentle and stays that way under all circumstances and weather. She is suitable and safe for all ages and ability levels of rider in or out of the arena. Montana is trail savvy and will ride out alone without a hiccup or in a group. She has been ranched on and seen lots of miles and cattle outside, therefore exposing her to everything she needs to be ok with to make her a great trail partner. She has been ranched on and roped on primarily in a ranch setting, but you can rope on her out of the box if you wish. You can see in her video a few clips where we did just to show you her versatility and willingness, but she is not a finished rope horse more just a solid and safe ranch/trail and family horse. We have also used her to work the cow sale where she has gotten lots of experience opening and closing gates. Montana is an easy keeper. She pastures well with others and is easy to catch, shoe etc. she ties and trailers well. She is drama free, requires no maintenance and is the easy point and go type. Her handle is good. It isn’t so fancy that she’s too sensitive for a child, but it’s just good enough that she is a pleasure to ride. She neck reins, moves off leg, will give her face to you and has a good stop. Her gaits are really smooth and pleasurable, her lope especially. She catches her leads and has easy transitions. Montana is as easy going if a mare as is out there and she will fit in anywhere she goes. Ranch on her, trail ride, let her raise your family or use her for a reliable lesson her!
