Congratulations on your mare’s pregnancy! Now what?
In this hour, Dr. Sera Moran will talk you through equine pregnancy and foaling.
Topics include:
What to do during your mare’s pregnancy, including vaccines, nutrition, and things to watch for
How to tell when your mare is getting close to foaling
What to expect during a normal foaling, and when to call the vet if things go wrong
Post-foaling care of mama and baby
This seminar is targeted to owners who are expecting their first foal; however more experienced breeders are welcome to attend in order to brush up on the basics. Dr Moran will be happy to entertain any repro-related questions.
