Learn the essentials of a pre-purchase examination, assessing the horse’s physical structure in order to evaluate its soundness and suitability for its intended use. This informative clinic focuses on horse conformation and other important considerations and helps determine “if this horse is for you”. Explore the principles of equine conformation and how it affects movement, soundness, and performance.

-Evaluation Techniques: Gain insights into effective pre-purchase evaluation methods to assess a horse’s health and suitability for your needs. Each participant will receive a Pre-Purchase Checklist which they will use to evaluate a horse during the clinic.
-Identifying Red Flags: Learn common conformation issues that may impact a horse’s long-term well-being and performance.

Clinician, Damian Ficca, leads participants in this highly valuable experience for anyone thinking about purchasing a horse and for those wishing to evaluate their own horses.

Clinic participants will personally complete a Pre-Purchase Checklist on a horse during the clinic and gain keen insight into the evaluation process.

Participants should bring: chair, hat, water, lunch, snacks, and pens. Please wear boots.
