At Alatheia we currently serve 50 clients with a variety of physical, emotional and learning disabilities through weekly, semi-private lessons that begin in the spring and continue through mid-November. Riders develop increased core strength, balance, coordination, and neuromuscular function as they learn and apply real skills on horseback.
Volunteers are vital to our program as each rider requires up to three assistants per lesson depending upon their unique special needs.
